Job Description
Role: Senior GenAI/Agentic AI Engineer Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN Duration: 11/16/2026-5/7/2027 Rate: $67.97-$79.79/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications
We’re looking for a GenAI Engineer who can translate business needs and ambiguous stakeholder problems into practical, production-ready GenAI solutions. This role combines product thinking with hands-on engineering across agentic systems, prompting, evaluation, and the GenAI application lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities - Translate stakeholder needs into effective agentic workflows, prompt strategies, and other GenAI solutions and tooling.
- Design and build AI agents and multi-step workflows, including tool/function calling, orchestration, retrieval, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Develop robust approaches for evaluating and testing agents, including quality, reliability, safety, and failure-mode testing.
- Build and iterate on prompts, RAG pipelines, structured outputs, and LLM-based applications.
- Integrate GenAI solutions with enterprise data, APIs, applications, and tools.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to prototype, validate, deploy, and continuously improve high-value use cases.
What We’re Looking For - Expert use of an AI coding platform such as Antigravity, Kiro, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools to rapidly design, build, test, and iterate on production-quality solutions.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic architectures, prompt engineering, RAG, and agent evaluation/testing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous business requirements into well-designed GenAI solutions.
- Experience or familiarity with the agentic application lifecycle, including deployment, observability, guardrails, evaluations, and integrations using approaches such as MCP and A2A, is a plus.
- Practical understanding of LLM limitations, responsible AI, security, reliability, latency, and cost considerations.
- You do not need experience with every framework or technology listed. We value demonstrated engineering ability, sound judgment, curiosity, collaboration, and the ability to learn new GenAI technologies quickly.
