Job Description

Role: Functional Lead– Oracle Fusion Cloud (Senior Oracle Functional Analyst)

Rate: $65 - $70/hour W2

Duration: 6 month contract to hire. 

Location: fully remote ok, Twin Cities based candidates preferred


This role is a senior Oracle Fusion Functional Analyst responsible for partnering with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to optimize Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. The consultant will gather business requirements, configure Oracle Fusion modules, write functional specifications, support production issues, lead testing efforts, and mentor other analysts.


Success in this role comes from understanding business processes first and Oracle functionality second. This person should be able to recommend best-fit Oracle solutions rather than simply documenting requirements.

Within six months they should be independently leading functional initiatives, supporting Oracle enhancements, driving quarterly Oracle updates, mentoring junior analysts, and serving as the functional expert for one or more Oracle Fusion modules.


2. Non-Negotiables (Must Have)

Oracle Experience

  • 5+ years supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
  • Strong functional experience, not technical development
  • Hands-on Oracle Fusion configuration experience
  • Experience leading business requirements gathering
  • Experience writing Functional Design Documents (FDDs)

Module Expertise

Candidate must have deep expertise in at least one of these:

ERP Financials

  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Chart of Accounts
  • Enterprise Structure

OR

Supply Chain

  • Procurement
  • Purchasing
  • Order Management
  • Inventory

Functional Responsibilities

Must have experience:

  • Configuring Oracle Fusion
  • Leading requirements sessions
  • Conducting UAT
  • Supporting production issues
  • Managing Oracle Service Requests
  • Training business users
  • Supporting quarterly Oracle releases

Business Process Knowledge

Strong understanding of one or more:

  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Budget-to-Report
  • Financial Close
  • Inventory Management

Reporting

Experience with:

  • OTBI
  • Oracle BI Publisher

Project Experience

  • Oracle Fusion implementation or major enhancement projects
  • Cross-functional enterprise environments
  • Working directly with Finance or Supply Chain stakeholders

Experience

  • 5 to 7+ years Oracle Fusion Functional experience
  • Business Analyst background
  • Enterprise ERP environment
