Role: Senior Project Manager - Oracle Data Lead Rate: $67.97-$79.79/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications Location: Remote Start Date: ASAP End date: While the current contract is set to run through 9/30, the client fully anticipates extending the engagement into the next fiscal year. Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and drive execution within a large-scale Oracle Fusion transformation program. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on planning, coordination, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring successful implementation outcomes across business and technology teams. This is not a program management position. We are looking for a strong project leader with approximately 8–12 years of experience who operates close to the work, actively removes obstacles, drives accountability, and ensures initiatives stay on track. The ideal candidate will have experience leading ERP implementations, with Oracle and/or Oracle Fusion experience strongly preferred. Success in this role requires strong project management discipline, the ability to build alignment across business and technical stakeholders, and a proactive approach to driving execution in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities - Lead day-to-day project execution activities supporting Oracle Fusion implementation initiatives
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks, and issues
- Coordinate activities across business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, implementation partners, and vendors
- Drive project governance processes, including status reporting, risk management, decision tracking, and escalation management
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to ensure alignment and progress
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives
- Proactively identify project risks, constraints, and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor and manage implementation partner and vendor activities to ensure delivery commitments are met
- Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable project plans
- Support organizational change, communication, testing, cutover, and deployment activities throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Drive accountability across project teams while fostering collaboration and effective problem-solving
- Support data conversion, integration, and data readiness activities as needed within the broader Oracle Fusion program
Required Skills & Experience - 8–12 years of project management experience leading complex technology, ERP, or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Proven experience delivering ERP implementation projects, with Oracle and/or Oracle Fusion experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder management
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating across business and IT organizations
- Demonstrated success working with external implementation partners, systems integrators, and third-party vendors
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive decisions, and maintain momentum in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with an execution-focused approach to delivery
- Experience supporting testing, deployment, cutover, and organizational readiness activities
- Familiarity with data migration, data conversion, or ERP data readiness efforts is beneficial but not the primary focus of the role

- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or other project management certifications preferred
