Job Description
Role: Sr. Project Manager I Location: Remote Contract: 9 months (Contract to hire) Rate: $33.30/hour W2

What does the team make-up look like? - Team is made up of 90+ project managers from junior level to very senior level project managers, supporting the entire business – the PBM, all the pharmacies (Home Delivery, Specialty, Genoa, Pharmscript, etc.)
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? - Effectively and efficiently own the successful delivery of all assigned projects including managing all cross-function work stream owners (real estate, training, telecom technology, human capital, etc.) – function as the project General Manager
- Document and outline scope/charter, as needed. Create and manage project plan, issue log, lessons learned, close document, failure mode and effects analysis (fmea), control plan, etc.
- Identify team roles and skill sets required to quickly create a highly functioning team.
- Direct the team and resolve conflicts: Direct team to complete projects on time, within budgetary guidelines. Escalate issues appropriately.
- Assess progress and report status to management and key constituents: timely written or verbal communication of project status to management.
- Highlight areas of concern or needed assistance. Track status of project timelines and milestones and communicate with management and team members.
Required Skills: - 3-5 years project management experience or similar experience
- Experience in successfully managing major projects with at least one implementation in a non-IS business function
- Strong communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities, and Able to direct project outcome based on long term business objectives
