Role: Senior Project Manager - Oracle Integrations

Rate: $67.97-$79.79/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications

Location: Remote

Start Date: ASAP

End date: 9/30/2026 with potential to extend

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with approximately 8–12 years of experience to lead and deliver complex initiatives, with a strong emphasis on ERP implementations and system integrations. This is not a program management role—we are looking for a seasoned, hands-on project leader who remains close to execution and is motivated to continue expanding their impact.

The ideal candidate is a driven, accountable, and adaptable “go‑getter” who takes ownership, leads through influence, and does what’s necessary to ensure project success in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
  • Lead software development teams delivering boundary applications, custom solutions, and system integrations supporting ERP platforms
  • Coordinate work across internal development teams, integration teams, architects, and multiple third-party vendors
  • Manage dependencies between core ERP systems and surrounding boundary and third-party applications
  • Oversee delivery of integrations involving APIs, middleware platforms, data pipelines, and file-based interfaces
  • Ensure alignment on data flows, interface contracts, and integration patterns, including batch vs. real-time processing
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and technical delivery conflicts
  • Manage and hold accountable implementation partners, systems integrators, and third-party vendors
  • Lead ERP-related initiatives, with a strong preference for Oracle-based implementations
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to business, technical, and executive stakeholders
  • Adapt quickly as priorities shift while maintaining focus on delivery, execution, and outcomes
  • Continuously drive improvements in execution, coordination, and delivery effectiveness

Required Skills & Experience

  • Approximately 8–12 years of project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives
  • Proven experience managing software development teams, including teams building boundary applications, integrations, and third-party interfaces
  • Demonstrated technical fluency with:
    • API-based integrations (REST/SOAP concepts, contracts, dependencies)
    • Middleware and integration platforms (e.g., iPaaS, ESB, messaging/event frameworks)
    • Data flows and interface design, including upstream/downstream dependencies
    • Batch vs. real-time processing models, scheduling, and failure handling
  • Ability to partner effectively with architects and engineers and translate technical complexity into actionable plans
  • Strong hands-on leadership with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Demonstrated success managing ERP implementations (Oracle experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience managing systems integrators, implementation partners, and third-party vendors
  • Excellent risk management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity, evolving requirements, and tight delivery timelines

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Comfortable working hands-on and beyond a narrowly defined role when project needs require it
  • Execution-focused professional who prefers delivery over bureaucracy
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-oriented under pressure
  • Collaborative leader with a strong work ethic and delivery mindset
