Role: Program Manager - Copilot Rate: $70-$80/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications Location: Prefer local to MN for opportunity to come onsite Start Date: ASAP End Date: 9/30/2026; Contract-to-hire
Overview We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and adoption of Microsoft Copilot initiatives across the enterprise. This role will drive structured delivery, stakeholder alignment, and successful rollout of Copilot capabilities while ensuring strong governance, user readiness, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end program management for Microsoft Copilot adoption and enablement initiatives
- Partner with executive stakeholders, IT, security, and business teams to define program goals, scope, and success metrics
- Drive coordinated delivery across multiple workstreams, including readiness, governance, training, and change management
- Manage dependencies across Microsoft 365, security, identity, data, and compliance teams
- Serve as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external implementation partners/vendors
- Proactively identify and manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts
- Translate high-level Copilot strategy into actionable, executable program plans
- Ensure alignment between Copilot initiatives and broader enterprise productivity and transformation goals
- Provide clear, consistent program communications and status updates to executive stakeholders
- Uphold EPMO standards, governance, reporting, and documentation requirements
- Drive accountability, cadence, and execution across all Copilot-related initiatives
Required Qualifications - Proven experience in Senior-level Program or Project Management
- Experience leading Microsoft 365, Copilot, or digital workplace initiatives
- Strong understanding of enterprise change management, user adoption, and readiness planning
- Experience managing implementation partners and third-party vendors
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate across leadership levels
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage conflict, mitigate risk, and drive resolution in complex, cross-functional environments
- Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to understand end goals and define practical paths to delivery
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working within a formal EPMO environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 governance, security, and compliance considerations
- Strong relationship management skills across business, IT, and security teams
- Experience supporting enterprise productivity or digital transformation programs
