Job Description

Role: Principal Program/Portfolio Manager - Technology Modernization

Rate: $70-$80/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications

Location: Remote

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 9/30/2026; Contract-to-hire


Project Work: 

·      Lead enterprise, cross-functional programs made up of multiple projects/workstreams aligned to strategic supply chain modernization strategy objectives.

·      Define delivery approach, integrated roadmap, milestones, and dependencies; coordinate across teams, vendors, and implementation partners.

·      Drive governance, decision-making, change control, and communications with executive- and board-level stakeholders.


Deliverables: 

·      Program objectives, key deliverables, and success metrics with a comprehensive integrated plan (scope, budget, schedule, resources).

·      Executive-ready reporting (status, risks/issues, dependency impacts, milestone readiness) aligned to EPMO standards.

·      Benefits/value realization tracking that connects program outputs to intended outcomes and triggers corrective actions.



Accountabilities: 

·      Ensure alignment to supply chain modernization strategy and EPMO methodology; proactively manage scope, budget, timeline, resources, and delivery commitments.

·      Own integrated risk/issue/dependency management and escalation; facilitate tradeoffs and decisions across programs.

·      Lead cross-program steering and stakeholder engagement; ensure transparency, adoption, and effective change management across the portfolio.
