Job Description
Role: Scrum Leader Location: Remote Duration: ASAP - 2/15/2027 Rate: $67.34/hour W2
Job Summary: - The Scrum Leader will work in the Center for Digital Health, with the purpose of extending our agile expertise and helping deliver digital solutions and products to consumers, patients, and providers to improve their health journey.
- The Scrum Leader facilities workflows in a scrum environment, ensuring that members of the team follow through on their respective duties and responsibilities.
- Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
- Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Collaborates with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering and Experience Design partners to ensure successful deliver
- Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
- Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
- Works with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support the product teams.
- Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Leaders to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
- Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Leaders to grow within the role.
- Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
- Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
Required Skills & Experience: - Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge of Scrum and understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, collaboration skills and cultural awareness.
Preferred Skills & Experience: - Experience navigating transformation in highly regulated industries is a plus.
Education: Required Education: - Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma AND
- 4+ years relevant experience required.

The organization is executing on a multi-year Cloud Services strategy that is a coordinated operational and delivery function within the broader Cloud Modernization and Hybrid multi-Cloud effort. It provides resources, teams, and processes that enable the organization's enterprise-wide transition to a hybrid multi‑cloud environment.
The program is being run as Scaled Agile with an Agile Release Train and 6 cars. The Scrum Guide will interact with a Release Train Engineer, Product Owners and Managers.
Key Responsibilities: Required: - Expert at Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) running sprints, creating burn down charts, coaching
- Expert at developing User Stories from high level Epics.
- Proficient within a scaled agile framework, SAFe
Preferred: - Experience in a healthcare setting of hospitals and clinics
- Certified Scrum Master and/or SAFe Scrum Master certified STRONGLY preferred.
