Job Description

Role: Project Manager (Executive Level)

Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN

Rate: The hourly pay rate range for this position is expected to be $57.24 - $84.43 depending on qualifications and experience, though a higher rate may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates


Experience Required:

7+ years managing business projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver medium to large HR project initiatives (moderate to high complexity)
  • Ensure projects meet budget, scope, schedule, risk, and quality objectives
  • Keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project
  • Use company and industry-standard project management methods and tools
  • Align project deliverables with business objectives
  • Define, estimate, and schedule project tasks using a clear project plan
  • Identify resource needs and work with leadership to secure skilled team members
  • Hold team members accountable, provide coaching and mentoring
  • Maintain project documentation and records
  • Track and report key measures of project success
  • Analyze project performance and conduct cost-benefit analyses
  • Implement corrective actions and manage project changes as needed
  • Communicate project status, risks, and action plans to stakeholders
  • Escalate significant risks or issues to leadership when necessary
  • Collaborate with business partners, vendors, and project teams to align on objectives
  • Transition completed projects into daily business operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Deep understanding of HR practices and project management
  • Experience leading multiple complex projects from design to delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Objective decision-making ability
  • Attention to detail and ability to drive results, even in ambiguous situations
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Visio, JIRA, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Preferred: PMP certification and experience in Talent Management
