Job Description
Role: AirWatch MDM Engineer Contract: 1 year Location: Onsite - St. Paul, MN Pay Rate: $65/hr W2
Minimum Qualifications - 3 years of hands-on experience with VMware Workspace ONE / AirWatch administration.
- 2 years of combined experience using Air Watch MDM software, mobile OS platforms, and enterprise mobility architecture
- 2 years of experience with cellular activations on Vendor portals such as Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.
- 1 year of combined experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
Desired Skills - Experience with Intune deployment or migration projects.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, SC-300, or AZ-104).
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and conditional access policies.
- Experience integrating MDM with identity and access management solutions.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
Sample Tasks and Key Responsibilities: - Maintain the existing AirWatch MDM platform, including device enrollment, policy configuration, application deployment, and compliance monitoring for iPhones, iPads and Android devices.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for mobile device issues across iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.
- Maintain Verizon, AT&T and other Vendor Support Portals for cellular devices
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure mobile device policies align with organizational standards.
- Monitor system performance, generate reports, and implement required improvements to enhance user experience and security posture.
- Work on the assessment, planning, and phased migration from AirWatch to Microsoft Intune, including stakeholder engagement, pilot testing, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Keep leadership updated and current with industry trends and best practices in endpoint management and mobile security.
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
