Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager – Multiple Application Projects

Start Date: As soon as possible

End Date: December 31, 2026

Location & Onsite Requirement: Hybrid – Onsite 2 days per week in Minneapolis, MN (Monday and Tuesday)

Rate: $65.34 - $71.28/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications


Work Description / Deliverables:

Manage multiple application projects ranging from $100K to $1M in size. Responsibilities include:

  • Monthly reporting on scope, schedule, budget, and resources
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure successful business outcomes

General Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for implementation and quality of key IT business deliverables
  • Engage IT SMEs and provide work direction
  • Develop and execute project schedules with milestones, dependencies, and resource assignments
  • Define IT requirements with stakeholders
  • Provide estimates for IT project elements
  • Lead RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) tracking and resolution
  • Ensure adherence to company's IT policies and standards
  • Track and communicate changes to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Produce monthly status reports for company's Leadership
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure business readiness
  • Collaborate with solution architects to recommend options
  • Facilitate business acceptance and change management

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5–7 years of application project management experience, including vendor coordination
  • 1–3 years of business analysis experience
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project or similar planning tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills:

  • Strong understanding of system application components
  • Experience managing purchased solution projects
  • Experience with Public Safety departments (Police and/or Fire)
