Job Description

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $31.08–$35.64, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Overview of Job:

This role is responsible for managing device tracking in the ServiceNow asset module, ensuring accurate records, and correcting discrepancies. It involves maintaining self-service quoting portals with third-party vendors, including managing access and training. Additionally, the role coordinates equipment delivery from stock rooms by submitting detailed delivery requests, including PO, model, quantity, and timeline.


This individual will oversee the entire device management process—establishing, improving, and streamlining workflows. They will handle RMAs via service portal forms, place orders through Procurement, maintain stock rooms, ensure paper media is stocked separately, reconcile POs, and arrange electronics recycling pickups for IT.


The ideal candidate will also collaborate closely with hardware suppliers and internal technology teams to establish and maintain standard PC device configurations. They will work to improve device management processes, ensuring continuous enhancement in asset tracking, hardware procurement, and lifecycle management.


Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience with PC hardware and utilities
  • Experience updating Windows through common tools
  • CompTIA A+ certification or relevant work experience
  • Hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Strong recordkeeping and data accuracy skills
  • Experience with enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Ability to manage and improve device management processes
  • Ability to lift 50 bs


Desired Skills:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to unbox and prepare components for installation
  • Experience refreshing corporate end-user workstation equipment (monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Windows Updates, firmware updates, and driver patching
  • Inventory management experience, including tracking hardware usage and reclamation
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools like ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of M365 applications, particularly Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with Apple and Windows OEM hardware, with emphasis on Dell and iOS devices


General Responsibilities:

  • Manage device tracking and asset records within ServiceNow
  • Establish and maintain self-service quoting portals and vendor relationships
  • Oversee equipment procurement and inventory management
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, ensuring all necessary details are submitted
  • Handle RMAs and service requests via procurement and service portals
  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory and ensure proper stock room organization
  • Ensure compliance with standard PC hardware configurations and best practices
  • Identify and document process improvements to enhance device management efficiency
  • Reconcile purchase orders and ensure timely equipment distribution
  • Arrange for electronics recycling pickups and stock replenishment as needed
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to optimize device lifecycle management
