Job Description

ROLE TITLE: Web Business Analyst (Order Management System)

CONTRACT LENGTH: 3/18/2025-12/31/2025

LOCAL: Yes – At least 2 days in the office per week are expected 

RATE: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $57.30–$65.86, dependent on qualifications and experience.

INTERVIEW: first round will be virtual, second round will be onsite and MUST be able to do onsite interview

Client is looking for a Web Business Analyst with 8-10 years of experience in custom web application design specific in order management.


Required Skills:

  • Web Business analyst (WBA) with 8-10 years of experience in Custom Web application design– Order Management.
  • Proficient in facilitating and gathering requirements from internal teams and third-party business teams.
  • Must write test plan, test cases – Functional, integration, end to end and regression, test case execution, defect logging.
  • Create process flow, writing User Story with Acceptance Criteria, Functional Design Document, Table Design and, Data Mapping (integration & other)
  • Proficient with hands on experience with JSON, XML and API.
  • Experience in integrating the Custom web order management application with and back end application like JDE ERP (JDE preferred)
  • Hands on experience with Structured Query Language (SQL). Must be comfortable writing medium to complex queries to extract and analyze data.
  • Experience in triaging issues and determining root cause and solution.
  • Comfortable with effort estimation based on the high level requirements.
  • Experience in conducting Demo and User Acceptance Testing with business.
  • Experience working with development and QA team (Onsite-Offshore model) to meet the milestones. Must be able collaborate with other BAs in the team. 
  • Experience in Agile able to collaborate/ team player, excellent written and oral communication, take ownership and comfortable in a dynamic environment.  
  • Tools/ Technology –
    • SQL, SOAP/ POSTMAN, Mural, Visio, Excel etc.


Desired Skills:

  • Expertise in the areas below for Oracle - JD Edwards 9.2.
    • Electronic Data Interchange
    • Sales and Distribution
  • Hands on experience with AgGateway XML and Chem eStandards- Version 5.x & 6.x. or equivalent
  • Experience in working with UX designer to translate requirements to best in class user experience screens. 
  • Experience in project management tool like Azure dev-ops
