Role: UKG Systems Admin Consultant
Rate: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $67.18–$100.98, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Duration: 1/27/25-12/31/26
Location: Minneapolis - onsite/hybrid - likely 2 days/week (Tuesday's required)
Hours: 25-30 hours/week (but working on making full time)

Work Description/Deliverables:
This consultant will be a key project team member for the UKG enterprise rollout effort and provide production support/break-fix for the client's critical United Kronos Group (UKG) TELESTAFF and PROWFM scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll system(s). This consultant will help implement these above systems at the client, while also support departments/users who are already using these systems in production. This consultant will perform the following roles for the UKG PROWFM and TELESTAFF systems:
1. System Analyst/Designer
2. Global System Administrator
3. Production Support – Break/Fix support
The consultant will be a key part of the project team to rollout UKG to various the client departments. In addition, they’ll support the client's Finance and 4 additional departments who are already “live” and using these systems in production.
Mandatory Skills:
- Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
- Strong system analysis and design skills.
- Strong system documentation skills (requirements, current and future state, etc.).
- Strong collaboration and facilitation skills; ability to work with large project teams, small groups, and individuals to discuss and trouble-shoot requests/issues; design system solutions and meet changing business requirements.
- Experience supporting UKG PROWFM and TELESTAFF for complex, union-based organizations (e.g., airports, cities, municipalities, etc.)
- 2-5 Years experience implementing/supporting UKG PROWFM (formerly Dimensions) and TELESTAFF scheduling and time reporting/payroll systems.
- 2-5 Years experience as a System Administrator for UKG PROWFM (formerly Dimensions) for scheduling, time reporting, and payroll processing.
- 2-5 Years experience as a System Administrator/Analyst for UKG TELESTAFF Scheduling.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience as an E1 JDE Business/System Analyst.
General Responsibilities:
Perform the roles of UKG System Analyst, Global System Administrator, and Production Support team member for MAC’s critical United Kronos Group (UKG) TELESTAFF and PROWFM scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll system as described below:
System Analysis & Design – Performs system analysis, design, review/approval, and system design for all proposed UKG changes:
1. Responsible for designing, testing, and approving all proposed UKG changes, before changes are rolled out to production.
2. Collaborate with the client's Finance, project teams, and other departments as needed to design proposed UKG system solutions to achieve and/or address, the client's policy changes, union rules, process changes, enhancement requests, etc.
3. Evaluate all changes being proposed, design UKG solutions, approaches, and configuration options to achieve desired results/changes.
4. Review/Evaluate/and Test proposed UKG changes prior to production rollout.
5. Perform testing of all proposed changes; verify that designed/proposed changes will not break the client's UKG production system or negatively impact scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll.
6. Provides sign-off and approval on all system configuration changes.
Global System Administration – Responsible for global system administration and all system changes for MAC’s UKG scheduling, time reporting, and payroll system.
1. Primary global System Administrator and contact for all UKG changes.
2. Collaborate/Facilitate with UKG support, consultants, project teams, and IT staff as needed to complete technical updates (e.g., system upgrades, SSO, integration updates, etc.)
3. Responsible for the following technical and global system changes, including but not limited changes impacting:
· Business Structure
· Job Title updates
· User Permissions/Groups
· Integrations (CRT tables)
· Schedule Templates for both PROWFM and TELESTAFF
· SSO
· Etc.
4. Facilitate/Collaborate with the client's Finance and other departments to implement, configure, and deploy approved system changes.
5. Provides additional UAT testing on changes as needed; identifies and resolves any final configuration errors prior to production rollout.
6. Collaborates with the client's Finance and other departments to ensure proper notice, and communications are submitted to end-users prior to deployment.
7. Assists the client's Finance and other departments with general guidance and help with Business System Administration tasks and questions as needed (e.g., adding schedule templates, adding work codes, etc.).
Global System Administration & Production Support for the client's UKG Integration(s):
As the Global System Administrator, this consultant will be responsible for implementing, updating, and supporting the client's UKG integrations, and the daily synch between UKG TeleStaff and PROWFM (previously Dimensions).
This consultant will be responsible for performing the needed analysis, and updates to the client's UKG integrations (listed below), and providing ongoing Production support for these integrations. Production support is generally Monday – Friday, during core hours, however some support may be needed during “off-peak” hours, weeknights and/or weekends.

4. Daily synch between UKG Telestaff and Dimensions
v UKG PROWFM and TELESTAFF Production Support:
1. Submit requests to UKG as needed to copy UKG Prod to UAT, to ensure that the client's UKG UAT environment successfully mirrors production.
2. Provide ongoing UKG support for the client departments/advanced users who already use the system, including:
· Assist with issue resolution.
· Assist with troubleshooting and questions.
· Assist with enhancement requests.
· Etc.
3. Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting UKG system outages. Responsibilities Include:
· Review UKG system issues submitted through the client's ServiceNow portal.
· Review UKG system outages/notifications and identify impacts to MAC
· Report/submit ticket to report UKG system outages to the UKG Global Support team.
· Communicate outages, and status, to the appropriate the client departments.
· Work/Collaborate with UKG Global support. If necessary, work with the client's staff to resolve outages or issues caused because of an outage.
· Etc.
4. Provide ongoing monitoring of UKG new releases/patches and identify Impacts (e.g., Benefits, or potential changes required, etc.) to the client.
Supportive Role/Responsibilities:
Business Analysis (Supportive Role) - Work closely with Finance, project teams, and other departments to assist with the following:
1. Assess policy/process changes and identify changes, or configuration updates required.
2. Evaluate/Identify UKG system updates that are needed to achieve/address the following:
· Project requirements/requests
· Enhancement requests
· Department policy/process changes (e.g., payroll process).
· Changes to benefits
· Changes to union contracts
· New Employee Laws (e.g., ESST)
· Etc.
3. Evaluate/Assist departments with process discussions, system issues, and recommended best practices.
4. Schedule/Facilitate meetings with departments, IT staff, and other team members.
5. Assists with impact assessments and prioritization of logged requests/changes.
6. Etc.
