Job Description

Role - Finance IT Delivery Lead

Location - Preferred Local to St. Paul/Minneapolis area


Overview:

We are seeking a Finance IT Delivery Lead to manage and prioritize the portfolio of financial applications and ERP-related projects. This role focuses on bridging IT and Finance to ensure efficient delivery of solutions aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background coupled with IT experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage portfolios in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary IT lead for finance applications and ERP integration projects.
  • Collaborate with Finance to define and prioritize application needs and projects.
  • Manage and support third-party financial applications like Coupa and OneStream, including integrations with ERP systems.
  • Develop a strategy to streamline IT’s involvement in business-managed applications.
  • Lead a small team of analysts, providing guidance and direction on integration and system administration tasks.
  • Build strong partnerships with Finance to align IT efforts with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and Finance to improve collaboration and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce mixed-mode operations and define clear ownership of IT-related tasks.
  • Work towards transitioning business-managed applications into IT-supported solutions, balancing workload and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of finance processes, including budgeting, consolidation, and expense management.
  • Experience managing financial application portfolios and ERP systems (e.g., Infor, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong communication skills to engage Finance stakeholders and translate business needs into IT solutions.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring or coaching team members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a mixed-mode environment and help define a clearer strategy for application support.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize competing demands from Finance and IT.
