Job Description

Location: MN - hybrid - must be local

Duration: 6 month contract


Summary of role:

Looking for a consultant that has experience working with business teams to understand how data and analytics can assist in decision making by helping them decide what to do, eliminating manual work and delivering more optimal solutions than what a human can do on a spreadsheet. 


Required Skills:

  • Be skilled at working with business teams to understand their problems. Must be comfortable asking questions and observing to derive the business need, particularly when the business may not understand how analytics can help them.
  • Proven experience working within data-driven organizations that rely heavily on insights and have taken advantage of automating mundane tasks.
  • Understand how ML/AI can be applied to deliver business value, and must have experience delivering these types of analytical projects.
  • Translate business problems into analytical solutions that utilize ML/AI models.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set clear objectives, develop a plan on how to execute, and provide detailed reports and user stories.
  • Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and experience working with Development teams.
  • Deliver documents to support the findings (including what the business need is and what the solution could be)
  • Identify expected benefits and cost of solution
  • Must have experience with analytical solutions delivered in Azure, including Azure databricks


Desired Skills:

  • Airline ops experience is a huge plus
