Job Description

Role: Salesforce Tech Lead

Start: TBD

Duration: 6-12 months (option to convert)

Location: Hybrid (St. Paul)

Position Summary:

Be part of an exciting, growing platform as client is expanding Salesforce footprint. We currently have an opening for an experienced and certified hands-on Developer to provide support on our Salesforce Platform/COE team. Client leverages the Salesforce platform for Sales, Service and Marketing, using respective clouds.


  • Identify, design, develop and test solutions leveraging Salesforce in support of the business units
  • High complexity custom development using a combination of Visualforce, Apex and Lightning Web Components
  • Develop data integrations with other systems in alignment with our Enterprise Data Strategy
  • Identify, recommend and implement operational best practices including code reviews, automated testing, and DevOps
  • Work on a cross-functional team, including other Salesforce Developers Salesforce Admins and Quality Assurance team members
  • Partner with business and Enterprise Technology teams across the enterprise to drive out solutions that meet business objectives
  • Mentor, support and otherwise drive success on our Salesforce Teams
  • Support Salesforce COE/Platform Team


  • 8+ years of full stack development experience in Java or other open platform technologies
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Passion for learning and mentoring within the Salesforce platform and technologies.
  • Invested in helping teammates and in being a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically.
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
  • Salesforce Certifications (Admin & Platform Developer 1 at a minimum)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with building Salesforce Lightning Web Components
  • Salesforce Architecture related certifications
  • Experience implementing DevOps for Salesforce
  • Experience with Financial Services Cloud
  • Experience with agile methodologies and dev ops tools such as gearset and jira
  • Experience with OwnBackup

Client believes in hybrid work as an integral part of our culture. Associates get the benefit of working both virtually and in our offices. If you’re in a commutable distance (90 minutes) you’ll join us 2-3 days each week in our offices to collaborate and build relationships. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. When working in our offices at least two days per week isn’t feasible (vacations, illness, travel, etc.), an eight day per month standard is an option.

Physical job requirements:

  • Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  • Ability to utilize the phone and/or virtual meeting platform for 2-4 hours per day
  • Ability to perform grasping tasks for 2-4 hours per day
